Brothers and Sisters! Africa must unite! Its the only hope we have if we are going to move forward as a people! Its becoming clearer and clearer Ghanaians are intimidated by the nature of the Nigerian! The Number of Nigerians there are and the natural attributes and behaviour! Many say the Ghanian is plain envious of the Nigerian! If this is true then ECOWAS and AFCFTA are great big failed initiatives that have and will never work!! Ghanaians do not want Nigerian retailers in Ghana! They say the Nigerians take their places…this is an intriguing case because while the Nigerian retailers make good use of all the much smaller markets across W. Africa including Ghana. The Ghanaian retailers have resigned to their self made reality that they do not have what it takes to use the big and vast market Nigeria presents to their advantage even though the borders people and markets are free to them to use in Nigeria!
Now all this presents a sad W.African and African story!
Nigerian traders are being asked to pay $1 million dollars to do business in Ghana! Yes Nigerian! Fellow west African , let alone fellow African! AFCFTA has not even started in earnest and the hatred and protectionism is in full bloom! I am sure Ghanaians will say the have very good reasons for their actions! Just like Nigeria now has a very good reason to retaliate! I’ve said it before Africans dislike each other…..let the pomp, ceremony and self deceit stop! If you will not get past your social and ethic dislikes how can any ECOWAS or AFCFTA goal be achieved! Let no one be deceived History has shown us that Government or no Government Nigerians the people will retaliate one way or another. ECOWAS , AFCFTA and the likes were and are doomed to fail! My brothers think about it deep, If you cant unite socially.(socio-economically)..how can you unite for development!!!? Any well enlightened person will ask if GHANA has an inferiority complex when it comes to Nigerians! And or are Ghanaians intimidated by the natural behaviour of the Nigerian. This is an irritating and unnecessary problem. How does one deal with a brother intimidated by your strengths!??? 🤷🏾♂
